30 minutes by train from London Waterloo on the Guildford/Woking line. The train stops at Clapham Junction, Wimbledon and Surbiton among others. It is then a 5 minute cab ride as above. Costs about 5 or 6 quid.

By road drive down the A316 to Sunbury Cross and its 10 minutes form there to Walton Bridge (A244)
